Add Comment iPhone 5 Price and Specifications 08/09/2011
It's currently July 2011 and so far no new iPhone has been released this year. As most of you may know, normally Apple announces or releases their new iPhone in June of each year (except for the iPhone 2G). As each year continues, more and more inside information is leaked by the various manufacturers and I'll go over some of that inside information in this article including expectations for the iPhone 5 price and specifications. First of all, will it be the iPhone 5 or the iPhone 4S? This could go either way but I'm leaning more toward the 4S and this is why. Normally a new model number, such as the iPhone 4 from the iPhone 3GS includes a complete overhaul, including of the body style. No new case or body pictures have leaked out as they have over the past few years which would make me believe that the body style will stay the same, therefore leaning toward the 4S. The only thing that would make me lean the other way is that iOS 5 is expected to be released in the fall, around the same time that the new iPhone is expected to be released. iOS 5 and iPhone 5 do make a great pair, but the naming of iOS could just be because it does have a large list of new features. Either way, I will refer to the new device as the iPhone 5 throughout this article since that is what a majority of the public is referring to the new iPhone as. One thing that can almost be certain is that the new version of the iPhone will include 4G capability. Some may expect 4G to affect the iPhone 5 price but overall, that hasn't been seen with other manufacturer's devices. What version of 4G that the iPhone 5 would use is another question though. Since AT&T Wireless is currently pushing their HSPA+ as their 4G with trials of LTE running or preparing to run in some areas, I would expect the GSM version of the iPhone to have HSPA+ 4G as Apple has never taken the chance of putting in a feature (4G LTE) when it isn't guaranteed to work. On another note, it's expected that a GSM/CDMA combination chip will be in the phone meaning that Apple can produce one phone and sell it on both networks which would help reduce the iPhone 5 price. How about the speed of the phone? Every newer version of the iPhone has been faster than the previous and with the new A5 chip out, I definitely agree with the rumors that the newer iPhone will be the fastest of them all, most likely blowing away all previous versions. 1GHZ dual-core maybe? With the current price of the A5 chip, it is definitely possible that it could be in there and wouldn't change the iPhone 5 price at all. Currently the screen size seems to be up in the air. A majority of the sources say that it will include a 3.7" screen, up from the 3.5" screen of the iPhone 4, but another group says that it could include a 4" screen. I don't believe the screen would go bigger than the 4 inches because that would be a major jump in the screen size and would most likely lead to an all-around new design of the phone which could affect the iPhone 5 price in production. 4 inches is still a fairly big jump when we're talking about cell phones, so I will agree that it will change to 3.7" IF it changes at all. With Gorilla Glass becoming more and more popular on smartphones nowadays, I believe that Apple could lock in a great deal for a larger screen size without it affecting the iPhone 5 price at all. How about those cameras? The iPhone 4 has a 5MP rear-facing camera and a VGA front-facing camera which are both outdated to say the very least. Both cameras were beginning to be outdated when the phone was released. With 8MP rear and 1.3MP front becoming a norm on most new smartphones, I expect that Apple will stay with that norm and won't push to exceed it at all. Pricing pricing pricing, that is the question! No major pricing changes have been made over the years when a newer iPhone is released so I expect it to be the same this year. With sales soaring at their current sale prices, I don't see them lowering the iPhone 5 price to get more sales and I don't see them raising the price because of the risk of losing customers. I expect the 3GS (on AT&T) to be stopped altogether, the iPhone 4 16GB and 32GB models to sell for $100 less ($99 and $199 respectively), and the iPhone 4S/5 to sell for $199 in the 16GB form or $299 in the 32GB form. Any diehard Apple fan will definitely jump all over the $199 or $299 iPhone 5 price for a new phone and anyone else who just wants to jump on the bandwagon is going to definitely pay $99 for the iPhone 4 which is still an amazing phone, especially at that price. I hope this article helped give you an idea of what to expect with the new iPhone 5 price and specifications and as always, I wish you good luck with your future purchases! The question that is often brought up with the iPhone is whether there are too many revolutionary features in one device. When people are asked to think about a gadget that works in one respect as the most advanced iPod on the market to date, works in another as a high-tech cellular telephone, and in another as a complex internet web browser, they are often perplexed about how it will all fit in together. Will there be chaos and complexity when trying to navigate certain applications? Will switching between one aspect to another be tricky? What happens if someone receives a call while they are browsing the internet or perusing their musical library? How does one go about switching from a portrait view to a landscape view? The questions seem endless. Luckily, there is one answer that takes care of all these little concerns and it can be summed up with one word: sensors. Yes, the iPhone utilizes sensors to add another layer of intrigue to the most technologically advanced item on the market. What exactly do these sensors do, how do they work, and in what way do they answer the questions raised in the previous paragraph? Let's go through each of the iPhone's three sensors one-by-one. First off, let us discuss the proximity sensor. This answers the question of how answering a call will work when one is received during web or iPod navigation. Prior to needing the sensor an alert (and of course, a ringtone) will signal to the user that someone is calling (the alert will be complete with all the necessary information about the caller). Instead of exiting programs or pressing buttons, all one has to do is hold the phone to his or her ear and answer the phone. The proximity sensor recognizes what is happening and temporarily switches out of the utilized application and opens up the phone connection. Concerns have also been raised about how complicated it will be to switch from standard to panoramic view on the iPhone. Thanks to a sensor called an accelerometer, whenever an iPhone is tilted one way or another, it will switch to the appropriate view. Navigating your musical library? Your iPhone will remain in portrait view. Flipping your iPhone 90 degrees to view a video? Your iPhone will correspond with a switch to landscape view. Finally, in an attempt to make energy conservation one of the iPhone's calling cards, and ambient light sensor has been utilized. This sensor detects how much light is needed to properly illuminate the screen and will automatically adjust accordingly. It would do no good to have the maximum power utilized during the daytime and the iPhone automatically deals with this problem. The iPhone sensors are just one of the many things that separate the iPhone from its competitors. While many of the applications on the device could be complicated or energy consuming, the sensors help alleviate any potential problems. This is just one of the reasons why the iPod is the pre-eminent hand-held device in the market today. About the Author: Aram Ulu writes for headlines24x7.com. Since the unveiling of the next-generation iPhone handset approaches, the Wall Street Edition is revealing the fact that Apple is in fact preparing to deliver an increasing quantity of iPhones to close out the 2011 year with a bang. Apple has actually been placing large orders placed for all the necessary elements to create the upcoming iPhone, and with the hype and media frenzy carrying on with to make in full steam the item is anticipated to sell off perfectly. WSJ cited sources inside Apple's supplies line that the organization is now being highly aggressive having their build up strategies for the modern iPhone, and has directed their manufacturers in the market to assume orders totaling 25 million products within the forthcoming several weeks. The document reports that only if Foxconn might improve its yields, Apple will be unable to meet up such a lofty objective. Insiders already have said that this particular iPhone 5 is both together "complicated" and "difficult to assemble". The statement usually rumored that the latest iPhone would include latest models of a wire-less baseband chip built by the Qualcomm, that might be switching the entire iPhone 4's chips which were originally provided by Infineon. It's been lately highly assumed that Apple definitely will be moving forward to some "world phone" chipset with the up coming iPhone, permitting its use upon simultaneously GSM along with CDMA network systems world-wide and in addition simplifying how many pieces that may Apple really should develop. A WSJ review didn't provide any specific indication if the Qualcomm chip would be "world phone" ready. A review besides that explained that this iPhone 5 might be at the same time lighter in weight as well as slimmer than the iPhone 4, but yet didn't conceive to any speculation with regards to an adjustment regarding design and style. Only a couple of days earlier ThisIsMyNext said that that the iPhone 5 would be a fabulous the radical structure passing away from the iPhone 4, and also other current rumors have reported that the passion for the iPhone 4's style and design is perhaps all but gone away from the company's executive team. If the record is going to be accurate, in that case, Apple's big component orders might position the iPhone 5 on the right track to reach its rumored third-quarter launch date. Obviously, companies are already quoted that getting ready in order to dispatch their final hardware to Foxconn not any later than early August so remaining assembly of the devices can start. Apple sent a lot more than 18 million iPhones in the past quarter, thus a 25 million phone prediction would point out that Cupertino hopes the iPhone 5 to be a a smash hit. Apple had no remark on the statement, and has continued tight-lipped concerning the up coming iPhone mobile phone handset. iphone 5 Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Savio_Ekka Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/6426758 5 Reasons to Get iPhone Insurance 07/26/2011

A patent application has been filed by Apple in the USA that appears to be an effort to stop users of it's devices, the increasingly ubiquitous iPhone, as "bootleg" recording devices at concerts and other live events. The problem Apple appears to be addressing by filing such a patent is that of people attending concerts, recording the act, and later uploading it to video sharing sites such as YouTube, to then be viewed by unlimited people for free. The sight of mobile or cellular phones being held aloft at concerts is becoming more prevalent these days, not everyone is of the opinion that it is a bad thing. Some musical acts even validate the practice, welcoming the additional exposure the uploaded clips provide. What do you think of the practice? Have you ever seen a video of a portion of a concert or live show that has inspired you to go out and buy the DVD? Hit the comments below with your opinions.
